The City Of Nuremberg And The Vag Are Planning To Build A New Tram Route In The Southern Nuremberg City Area. The Planned 1.7 Km Long Tram Route Runs Along Dianastrasse And Minervastrasse And Connects The Previous Tram Terminus At Gibitzenhof And The Finkenbrunn Stop. The Present Tender Documents Cover The Complete Track And Road Construction From The Existing “Gibitzenhof” Tram Turning Loop Via Minervastrasse To The Finkenbrunn Intersection. The Scope Of The Contract Includes The Construction Of A New Double-Track Tram Route, The Construction Of Two New Stops, The Renovation Of The Finkenbrunn Stop, The Creation Of A Tram Turning Loop As Well As Extensive Road Construction Work (Construction Of The Roadways, Parking Lanes, Cycle Paths And Sidewalks, Drainage Systems And The Preparation Of The New Tree Locations). The Construction Work Is Planned To Be Carried Out From Q1/2027. The Measure Is Divided Into Three Titles, Which Are Advertised Together. The Clients Are The Verkehrsaktiengesellschaft Nürnberg (Vag) And The City Of Nuremberg (Sör). The Two Project Sponsors Act Together As Clients.
