Request for proposals for Provision of Community Adaptation Planning and Baseline Study in Community Protected Areas Objectives The overall objective of the assignment is to develop evidence-based Community Adaptation Plans for the target Community Protected Areas (CPAs) and establish reliable baseline values for project indicators to support project implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and adaptive management, and long-term climate resilience. Specific objectives of the assignment are to: 1. Generate reliable baseline data for all applicable indicators in the SCALE+ Project Results Framework. 2. Assess the current status of climate adaptation and best practices, biodiversity conservation, climate-resilient crop-livestock systems, and value chain market analysis in the project areas. 3. Assess existing knowledge, practices, services, governance systems, and institutional capacities relevant to climate adaptation, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable livelihoods in the target CPAs. 4. Develop a comprehensive baseline database, indicator matrix, and monitoring tools to support implementation, monitoring, Mid-term Review (MTR), and Terminal Evaluation (TE). Scope of Work The consulting firm or research institution shall undertake, but not be limited to, the following tasks: Inception report through desk review of existing project documents, available baseline studies, relevant projects, and additional relevant documentation of climate change adaptation plans Development of detailed baseline methodology, sampling design, and survey instrument Consultation with GDLC/MoE, SCALE+ team, PCU under MAFF, FAO and other relevant stakeholders and finalizing methodological framework, sampling design, and detailed workplan Field work and data collection Data processing and analysis of the assignment Final adaptation planning and baseline report of the project Tender Link : https://www.bongthom.com/job_list.html?category_id=55&order_by=start_date&order_dir=desc
