Expression of Interest for Rental of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to ECDC Premises and Training in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Defibrillation and First Aid. Description: The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) is a public health agency of the European Union (EU), operational since 2005. ECDCs ambition is to protect over 500 million people from infectious diseases that are mainly caused by parasites and germs (such as viruses, bacteria and fungi). ECDC is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden and employs around 300 staff. ECDC is looking for a contractor to rent seven (7) Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for the period of up to four years. The following activities will be included in the scope of the contract: supply and installation of the defibrillators including relevant supporting equipment and signage, regular and ad hoc maintenance of AEDs; provision of the recurrent trainings on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), defibrillation and first-aid in English language for ECDC staff. An estimated total value of the framework contract over the duration of four years is 90,000 EUR (To be defined in the tender documents).
