Notice Is Hereby Given That The Ministry Of Forest Is Contemplating Making A Direct Award Of A Contract To Forest Professionals Bc (Fpbc) (The “Supplier”).The High-Level Details Of The Contemplated Contract Are Generally Described Below.The Ministry Requires The Development And Delivery Of Training To Forest Professionals On The Application Of The Forest Road Guidelines, Which Are A Joint Practice Guideline Between Forest Professionals Bc (Fpbc) And Engineers And Geoscientists Bc (Egbc).A Direct Award To Fpbc Is Contemplated Due To The Specialized Regulatory, Professional-Practice, And Technical Expertise Required To Deliver This Training And The Unique Role Of Fpbc In Establishing, Interpreting, Communicating, And Supporting Compliance With Professional Practice Requirements Applicable To Forest Professionals In British Columbia.The Forest Road Guidelines Establish Professional Practice Requirements For The Planning, Design, Construction, Maintenance, And Management Of Forest Roads Where The Work Involves The Practice Of Professional Forestry And Engineering. Effective Implementation Therefore Requires An Understanding Of Both The Technical Content Of The Guideline And The Professional Obligations Of Registrants.
