Tenders Are Invited For North Northamptonshire Council Refurbishment Of Autumn Day Centre, Corby

North Northamptonshire Council (Here After Referred To As 'The Council) Are Looking To Procure A Principal Contractor To Undertake A Range Of Refurbishment Works Required At A Public Health Dementia Facility.As The Centre Is Dated And In Need Of Modernisation, The Council Have Engaged With A Specialist Architect To Develop The Design And Reconfiguration With A Focus On A Dementia Friendly Environment. The Key Areas Of Focus Include Improving Overall Layout, Including Accessibility And Areas Of Movement Whilst Applying Dementia-Friendly Design Principles.Other Upgrades Include Reconfiguration Works, Modernising The Utilities, Improving Lighting And Installing Safety Features Such As Non-Slip Flooring And Additional Handrails.The Council Are Undertaking This Procurement On Behalf Of Public Health, The University Of Northampton And The Autumn Centre.
