purchase Of Emergency Power Generator . Descriptionthe Purpose Of The Procurement Is To Secure Emergency Power For The Operation Of The Pumps Which Are In The Pump Sump At The Lowest Point In The Underwater Tunnels In Ålesund. In The Event Of A Power Failure, The Pumps, Which Currently Pump Out Water From Inlets And When Washing, Will Stop And The Water Will Fill Reservoirs And Eventually Also The Roads And Tunnels. This Will Lead To Closure And The Risk Of The Tunnel Being Left Under Water In The Event Of A Longer Power Failure. A Mobile Emergency Power Generator Will Therefore Be Necessary To Maintain The Power Supply Until Grid-Based Power Returns. This Is An Important Part Of Preparedness In The Tunnels.
