The Municipality Of Hoorn Is Implementing An Extensive Redevelopment Of The Station Area Within The Poort Van Hoorn Project. Various Developments Will Take Place In The Station Area In The Coming Years In The Field Of Housing, Facilities, Mobility And Public Space. As Part Of This Transformation, The Municipality Is Realizing A Parking Building On The North Side Of The Station Area For Both Cars (P+R) And Bicycles, Including The Public Transport Bicycle, Which Functions As A Flywheel For Further Urban Development. The New Parking Garage, 6 Floors And A Bicycle Parking Basement, Makes It Possible To Renovate Existing Parking Spaces At Ground Level And Free Up Space For Planned Housing Construction And High-Quality Design Of The Area Within The Poort Van Hoorn Station Area Project.
