Tenders are invited for Wadi El Delem El Mraijat Qabb Elias and Maksé Water Systems he works include but not are limited to, the following: Part 1-Compulsory Part In Qabb Elias: Rehabilitation of the catchment works of Ouadi ed Delem Spring. Rehabilitation of the catchment works of Ras el Aïn Spring. Rehabilitation of the Qabb Elias pumping station (civil and electromechanical works). Rehabilitation of the French reservoir in Qabb Elias. Replacement of the existing two 150 m³ reservoirs with two new 400 m³ reservoirs. Construction of a new transmission line from Ras el Aïn Spring to the French reservoir. Replacement of the transmission line from Ouadi ed Delem Spring to the Solar Well reservoir in Qabb Elias. Construction of a lift line from the pumping station to the proposed 2 x 400 m³ reservoirs. The supply and installation of a PV solar power system to supply power to the pumping station. In Mraijat: - Construction and equipment of a new well. Construction and equipment of a pumping station. Construction of a lift line from the proposed well to the Doumani reservoir. Replacement of part of the transmission line from Ouadi ed Delem Spring catchment works to the Mraijat Middle Reservoir. In Maksé: - Construction of a 500 m³ reservoir. In Jdita, Maksé, and Upper Saadnayel: - Installation of 1,500 house connections. In Jalala and Chtaura: - Connection of Jalala and Chtaura transmission lines to the 18-inch diameter main line coming from Jdita wells art 2- Optional Part In Taalabaya 1.1.1. Installation of the remaining water distribution lines in Taalabaya. - Connection of Taalabaya transmission lines to the 18-inch diameter main coming from Jdita wells. The contractor should abide to his unit rates for both parts. line 1.1.2. The employer reserves the right to execute both fixed and optional parts, the fixed part only or along with selected section of the optional part and that will be decided according to the bid result. Project Duration The Project is divided into two parts: Part 1 (Compulsory Works): The time period for the execution of these works is sixteen (16) months, starting from the date of the Notice to Commence. Part 2 (Optional Works): The duration for the execution of Part 2 works is three (3) months. The execution of these works is subjeet to the issuance of a Notice to Commence by the CDR, which will be issued at least six (6) months before the completion of Part 1 works. Therefore, the overall contract duration, including both the compulsory and optional works, shall remain sixteen (16) months, as the optional works will be executed within the time period allocated for Part 1.
