Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services for the Construction Supervision of the Upgrading to Bituminous Standard of 52km of the Mwinilunga Jimbe Road from Mwinilunga to Zambezi Source Access Road Lot 1, in Northwestern Province of Zambia LOBITO INTEGRATED ECONOMIC CORRIDOR DEVELOPMENT PROJECT [UPGRADING OF MWINILUNGA TO JIMBE (T5) ROAD] The Government of the Republic of Zambia has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Lobito Integrated Economic Corridor Development Project, and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for the Construction Supervision of the upgrading to bituminous standard of 52km of the Mwinilunga Jimbe Road (T5) from Mwinilunga to Zambezi Source Access Road Lot 1, in Northwestern Province of Zambia. The services included under this project are construction supervision of the upgrading to bituminous standard of 52km of the Mwinilunga Jimbe Road (T5) from Mwinilunga to Zambezi Source Access Road Lot 1, in Northwestern Province of Zambia, whose scope of works will include construction of an asphalt wearing course, widening of the existing road formation to allow for a paved cross-section geometry to 11m wide road section, which will have 2 x 3.5m carriageway width and 2 x 2-m wide shoulders. The duration of the assignment is 30 months construction supervision period and 36-months defects liability period.
