As Part Of The “C-Roads” (Crg-3) Project, A Replacement For Analog Radio-Based Public Transport Acceleration For Buses And Coaches Is To Be Tested. Unlike The Previous Project “Login” (Traffic Signal Systems Optimally Controlled In Local Transport), In Which A Proof Of Concept Of C-Its-Based Public Transport Acceleration Was Achieved With The Participation Of Various Research Partners, C-Roads Relies On Product-Ready Hardware That Is Available On The Market. In Addition, Integration Into The Existing Itcs/Operations Control System Of Ivu Traffic Technologies Ag (Ivu) Is To Take Place, For Example For The Visualization Of Switching Time Forecasts. For This Purpose, Üstra Applied For Funding From The European Climate, Infrastructure And Environment Executive Agency (Cinea), Which Was Approved By A Funding Decision Dated October 16, 2024. Partial Financing Was Approved. Üstra Aims To Make Use Of The Grants. Üstra Therefore Expects The Tendered Services To Be Completed On Time. The Subject Of The Tendered Service Is The Delivery And Functional Provision Of A Vehicle-Based C-Its-Based Public Transport Acceleration, Which Includes All Services For An Integrated System. This Includes, Among Other Things, The Delivery And Installation Of C-Its Obus, Antennas As Well As The Integration Between These Components Up To The Interface To The Itcs On-Board Computer. The System To Be Offered Should Be Implemented As A Permanently Functioning Overall System Within 15 Months Of The Order Being Placed And Billed In A Verifiable Manner. By Using A C-Its-Based Public Transport Acceleration, A Sustainable And Standardized System Is To Be Implemented That Can Be Expanded Flexibly And Independently Of The Manufacturer.
