A Comprehensive Communication Solution Was Created For 20,000 Teachers At Public Schools In The State Of Brandenburg. The Schools Depicted In Ucs And Ucs@School In The Form Of Separate School Ous Form The Basis For The Contexts Set Up In Ox. Each School Is Therefore Assigned To A Separate Context In Ox. Creating, Changing And Deleting Accounts In Idm Is Done Using The Specialist Procedures Developed By Mbjs. After Several Years Of Operation, Due To The Lifecycle Of Ox It Is Necessary To Switch To The Current Version 8. The Switch To Ox 8 Requires Extensive Changes To The Ucs Ox Connector And The It Infrastructure. The Ox 8 Version Requires Docker Runtime Environments That Are Not Available With The Existing It Infrastructure. It Is Not Possible To Simply Update The Software In The Existing System. The Mbjs Therefore Intends To Allow The Groupware And Email Solution For Teachers Based On Ox To Be Operated By A Provider As A Saas Solution In The Future. The User Accounts In The Existing Idm Should Continue To Form The Basis For The Email Inboxes And The Existing Provisioning Processes Should Be Retained. The Aim Is Simply To Replace The Mail Stack Of The Existing It Infrastructure With A Saas Solution.
