Pavets Chaira Is The Largest Pumped-Storage Hydroelectric Plant In South-Eastern Europe And Plays A Significant Role In The Countrys Electricity System. Four Single-Stage Hydro Units (Xa) From 1 To 4 (Xa1, Xa2, Xa3 And Xa4) Are Installed In The Plant, Each With A Capacity Of 216 Mw In Generator Mode And 197 Mw In Pump Mode, Which Are Located In The Cavern In Two Hydrogroups Fed By Two Separate Pressure Shafts.The Subject Of The Public Procurement Includes The Preparation Of An Expert Assessment For The Removal Of Secondary Concrete Around Each Spiral Chamber, The Dismantling Of A Spiral Chamber And The Analysis Of The Static And Dynamic Scheme Of The Building Structures And Machine Equipment, Before And After The Removal Of The Secondary Concrete (Including The Spiral Chamber), As Well As An Assessment Of The Risk Of The Implementation Of The Activities.
