Work Detail
Endoscopes – Mhh - Framework Agreement For The Needs-Based Exchange Of Endoscopy Systems Including Service Agreement In Gastroenterology At The Medical School (Mhh). As A High-Performance Center For Supramaximal Care, The Hannover Medical School (Mhh) Operates A Highly Frequented Gastroenterological Endoscopy. The Range Of Tasks There Covers The Entire Spectrum Of Diagnostic And Interventional Endoscopy At The Highest International Level. These Include, Among Others, Highly Complex Controlled Procedures Such As Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (Ercp), Cholangioscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound (Eus) And Complex Tissue Resections (Emr/Esd). The Following Examination Figures Are Known From 2024: Videogastroscopy: 5,795 Video Colonoscopies: 2,336 Endoscopic-Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (Ercp): 1,050 Endosonography: 347 Total Examinations In 2024: 9,528 Complete, Technically Perfect And High-Resolution Imaging Is The Fundamental Prerequisite For This Patient Safety And Precise Clinical Control. In Order To Sustainably Ensure This High Standard Of Care, Modern Endoscopy Towers And The Associated Instruments Are Absolutely Necessary. Much Of The Medical Technology Currently Used In This Area Is Technically Outdated. It No Longer Meets The Current Requirements For Image Quality As Well As Modern Hygiene And Processing Standards. Replacing Legacy Systems Is Essential To Avoid Downtime And Maintain Daily Examination Operations. As Part Of This Tender, An Almost Complete Replacement Of The Endoscopy Equipment Park Is Required. A Necessary Logistical And Functional Requirement From The Operator Is That All Endoscopes Can Be Used As Flexibly And Fully Compatible As Possible Across All Examination Rooms. A Parallel, Cross-Manufacturer Mixed Operation For Similar Investigations Within The Departmental Structure Should Be Avoided If Possible For Procedural, Economic And Quality Reasons. Such A Mixed Operation Would Cause Increased Requirements And Expenses For Instrument Preparation, Including The Logistics Of Providing Compatible Endoscopes For Patient Use, For Maintenance And Repair Control, And For Training Staff. For A Supermaximum Care Facility, System-Related Standardization Is Not Just An Economic Consideration. It Supports Treatment Safety And Therapeutic Continuity, Reduces Technical Media Disruptions And Limits The Cognitive Load On Staff In Changing Clinical Situations. These Procurement Objectives Are Evaluated Exclusively Based On The Functional, Technical And Qualitative Requirements Published In The Procurement Documents; There Is No Manufacturer Preference Associated With This. The Mhh Currently Operates Seven Endoscopy Workstations With A Total Of 34 Endoscopes For The Gastr
