Tenders are invited for Editorial and design support conferences Consultant should have Their Own Computing and Broadband Facilities for Remote Collaboration Consultant should have Their Own Computing and Broadband Facilities .Location of support: Remote Equipment: Consultant should have their own computing and broadband facilities for remote collaboration Reporting to: Senior Content & Communications Manager Duration: Two-year framework agreement Scope of Work Objective The consultant(s) will provide editorial, coordination and design support for Malaria Consortiums conference-related outputs over a two-year period, helping to ensure that presentations, posters, abstracts and related communications are clear, accurate, visually consistent and aligned with organisational priorities, brand and editorial guidance. Please note that inclusion in the framework does not guarantee work or a minimum level of engagement. Consultants will be approached where their particular expertise is required and can accept or decline individual assignments. Activities Coordinate with lead authors to carry out copyediting for presentations and posters, along with conference abstracts, as required Oversee poster layout and design, and formatting of presentations, using Malaria Consortium in-house templates. Revise and finalise posters and presentations based on feedback from Malaria Consortiums content team. Draft additional communications related to the aforementioned outputs, including website and/or social media content. Provide occasional copyediting and proofreading of ad hoc conference posters and/or presentations, as needed. Liaise with Malaria Consortium staff, including through fortnightly updates with the Senior Publications Officer and/or Sr Content & Communications Manager to discuss progress and challenges during assignment periods. Anticipated events American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene Annual Meeting (ASTMH) November 2026 Multilateral Initiative on Malaria Society 9th Pan-African Malaria Conference (MIM/PAMC) April 2027 Priority conferences as identified. Timeframe The framework agreement will run from 1 October 2026 to 31 October 2028 Payment Invoices should be submitted to the point of contact upon completion. Payment will be made within 30 days of receipt of a valid invoice. Requirements Essential Integrated editorial and design experience Demonstrable experience providing both editorial and design support for organisational publications and technical communications, including conference posters, presentations and related materials.
