Work Detail
Engineering Services – “Planning A Multifunctional Rain Retention Area On The Hottensoll”. The University And Hanseatic City Of Greifswald Operates The Rainwater Network Through Its Own Operation, The Greifswald Sewage Works. The Planning For The Construction Of A New Natural Rain Retention Area (Rrr) To Expand The Existing “Hottensoll” Rain Retention Basin Is Being Tendered. This Should Be Planned To Be Multifunctional In Terms Of Landscape Design. In The Course Of A Study In Which The Performance Of The Hottesollgraben And The Adjacent Rainwater Sewer System Was Checked, It Emerged, Among Other Things, The Need To Increase The Retention Volume At The “Hottensoll” Rain Retention Basin (Rrb) To Approx. 20,000 M³. Due To The Limited Space Availability, The Planning Must First Check How Much Space Is Actually Required. Proposals For The Arrangement Of The Rrr Should Be Made, Taking Into Account The Various User Interests. The Possibility Of Relocating The Adjacent Allotment Gardens, For Example To The Edge Of The Rrr, Should Also Be Examined. Given That There Are Only A Few Public Green Spaces And Local Recreational Areas In The Area Surrounding The Rrb Hottensoll, The Newly Created Rrr Should Not Only Have The Function Of Restricting Runoff And Water Retention, But Should Also Be Used Multifunctionally Through Different Heights And The Addition Of Design Elements (Paths, Footbridges, Playgrounds, Planting Areas, Community Gardens, Orchards, Etc.). The Allocation Of Planning Services Takes Place In Two Stages. In The First Step, All Interested Planning Offices Can Apply And Must Prove Their Suitability In This Step. As A Result Of The Suitability Test, 3-5 Companies Receive The Task With All The Necessary Attachments, Images And Documentation To Create The Offer.
