In 2025, Stranda Municipality Announced A Competition For Winter Maintenance Of Municipal Roads In Stranda Municipality. This Competition Applies To The New Announcement Of One Of The Partial Contracts (Rode 101 Stranda, Storgjerde/Langlo/Jakob). The Winter Maintenance Includes These Tasks: • Snow Plowing • Snow Clearing • Spreading Of Salt And Gravel • Milling • Preparedness In The Period From 15 October To And Including 15 April The Winter Maintenance Does Not Apply To The Plowing Of Private Roads, As It Was Decided In The Municipal Board On 30.04.25 That The Municipality Should Discontinue The Scheme For Plowing Private Roads. There Are Nevertheless Some Exceptions For Users With A Decision On Round-The-Clock Care In Accordance With The Health And Care Act, And Users Who Need The Service For Other Important Health Or Social Reasons. The Agreement Lasts For 2 Plowing Seasons, With The Option To Extend For 1+1 Season, So That The Total Agreement Period Is Approx. 3.5 Years. Estimated Annual Value For Rode 101, Based On The Purchase Of Services In The Season Autumn 2025 - Spring 2026 Is Approx. Nok 400,000. Total Value Is Approx. Nok 2.0 Million Over The Entire Agreement Period. The Total Value Of The Plowing Contracts Of Which This Root Is A Part Is Approx. 20 Mnok Over The Entire Contract Period.
