The Helicopter Services Are To Be Performed In 4 Geographical Areas; Hordaland (South Of The Sognefjord), Rogaland, Sogn Og Fjordane (North Of The Sognefjord), And Møre And Romsdal. It Is Specified That These Areas Indicate The Clients Primary Needs, But That During The Contract Period There May Also Be A Need For Similar Services In Other Parts Of Western Norway. The Client Intends To Enter Into Contracts With Up To Four (4) Suppliers Per Geographical Area, And Reserves The Right To Enter Into Contracts With Fewer Suppliers If There Is Not A Sufficient Number Of Offers That Meet The Competitions Requirements And Terms. Urgent Incidents/Situations May Arise Where There May Be A Need For It. Unforeseen Tasks Will Largely Be Assistance In Various Operational Situations, E.G. In The Event Of Faults In Power Plants And Cables. To Ensure That Helicopters Are Available To The Greatest Extent Possible In Such Situations, It Is A Requirement That The Helicopter Company Has Available Helicopters In Western Norway. This Means That In The Event Of Urgent Needs/Incidents, A Helicopter Will Be Required To Meet After The Agreed Time. The Client Specifies That The Planned Activities For The Coming Seasons Are Subject To Uncertainty, And That The Stated Estimated Contract Value In Point 1.3 Is Based On Historical Values. It Must Also Be Assumed That There May Be A Need For Flying Related To Unforeseen Tasks Beyond The Planned Activity. This Is The Qualification Phase Of The Competition.
