procurement Of Veterinary Guard Services For Lillehammer And Gausdal Municipalities . Descriptionthe Municipalities Are Responsible For Organizing A Clinical Veterinary Guard For All Types Of Animals. The Scheme With Veterinary Guards Has Been Established In Accordance With Act 15 June 2001 No. 75 On Veterinarians And Other Animal Health Personnel § 3 A. The Scheme With Veterinary Guards Must Ensure That A Clinical Guard Is Established Under Municipal/Inter-Municipal Authority For Veterinarians In All Parts Of The Country, So That Necessary Veterinary Help Can Be Obtained Outside Ordinary Working Hours. The Veterinary Guard Is A Necessary Part Of Preparedness Against Serious Infectious Animal Diseases And Important For Maintaining Good Animal Welfare.
