Tenders are invited for Security Screening Equipment for the Conversion of Gates 19 and 20 to a Dedicated Holding Area Tender Type: Public Tender Tender Description: BAC through this RFP is seeking proposals from bidders to supply, deliver, install, configure, integrate, test, and commission of two (2) Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) systems and two (2) Liquid Explosive Detection Systems (LEDS) required to support the new enclosed operational configuration of Gates 19 and 20. BAC will be responsible for providing the civil works, spaces provisions, and infrastructure readiness, including the enclosed areas, power availability, and basic service interfaces. The Vendor shall be responsible for delivering fully functional, integrated, and operational ETD and LEDS equipment in accordance with the requirements of this RFP. The proposed systems shall comply with all applicable Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs (BCAA) requirements and relevant international aviation security standards and is fully compatible with existing BIA security infrastructure and obtains all required BCAA approvals prior to implementation.
