Bids Are Invited For English-To-Asl Interpretation Services

This Request For Standing Offer (Rso) Is Issued By The Legislative Assembly Of Bc (“Legislative Assembly,” Or “Labc”) To Establish One Or More Standing Offers (Sos) With Vendor(S) For The Supply Of Remote English-To-Asl (American Sign Language) Interpretation Services To Support Live Broadcasting Routine Business Of House Sittings (The “Services”). Routine Business Is The Daily Proceedings Of The Legislative Assembly, Including Member Statements, Question Period, Petitions, Committee Reports, And Other Regular House Business.The Goods And Services Identified In This Rso Are To Be Provided On An As, If And When Requested Basis And No Commitments Or Guarantees Are Made With Respect To The Number Or Value Of Contracts Or Draw Downs That May Be Requested From The Offeror Over The Effective Period.The Effective Period(S) Is Projected To Be For The Period From October 1St, 2026 To September 30, 2027 With An Option To Renew For Four (4) Additional 12-Month Terms Of Renewal At The Sole Discretion Of The Legislative Assembly.The Service Provider Will Coordinate Interpretation Services, Including Hearing Interpreters And Deaf Interpreters (Dis) Who Will Work Together In Teams (With One Each Per Team) For Broadcasting.
