Recommended minimum internal dimensions: Height:1,250 mm Width:580 mm Depth:300 mm The dimensions may be adjusted following verification of the lectern, provided that adequate clearance and protection are maintained. Outer material The bag shall be manufactured from?heavy-duty, abrasion-resistant, water-resistant PVC-coated polyester/tarpaulin material. Minimum requirements: Black or other dark, professional colour Minimum material weight:?approximately 500650 g/m² Tear and abrasion resistant Suitable for repeated handling and transportation UV resistant where practicable Water resistant to protect the lectern during normal transportation/storage conditions Material shall be suitable for commercial/institutional use Internal protective padding The entire internal surface of the bag shall incorporate a?protective padded lining. Minimum requirements: 10 mm closed-cell foam padding?to the sides, front, rear and top 15 mm minimum foam padding?to the bottom/base Foam shall be enclosed/secured between the outer PVC material and an internal lining Padding shall remain securely positioned during repeated use Internal lining shall be smooth and non-abrasive to prevent scratching or marking of the aluminium lectern All internal seams shall be finished so that they do not come into direct contact with the lectern Bag construction The bag shall be manufactured as a?purpose-made fitted lectern bag, generally conforming to the style shown in the reference photograph supplied. Zip requirements: Heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant zip Minimum No. 8 or equivalent heavy-duty zipper Two-way zipper preferred Zip pullers suitable for frequent use Zip area reinforced to prevent tearing of the PVC material External reinforcement straps The bag shall incorporate?heavy-duty webbing reinforcement straps, similar to those visible on the supplied reference photograph. Requirements: Minimum?50 mm wide polyester/polypropylene webbing Continuous or suitably anchored around the bag Reinforced at all attachment points Straps shall assist in maintaining the shape and structural integrity of the bag Strap stitching shall be double-stitched or otherwise reinforced Carrying handles The bag shall have?two heavy-duty carrying handles.
