Devices For The Disabled – Disabled Service Infrastructure On The Beaches Of Naxos And Donoussa. The Object Of The Contract Is The Supply And Installation Of Non-Permanent Infrastructure That Will Concern The Entertainment And Sports Of People With Physical Disabilities Or Limited Mobility (Elderly, Pregnant Women, People With Multiple Sclerosis, Etc.) On Six Beaches Of Our Municipality. It Aims To Improve And Modify The Accessibility Of These Beaches, In Order To Ensure Safe And Easy Access For All Visitors. The Procurement Aims To Take Advantage Of The Development Prospects Presented By The Coastal Front Of Our Municipality And Aims To: - Contribute To The Development Of Tourism With Special Requirements In The Coastal Areas Of The Municipality, And - Attract Visitors-People With Disabilities, As Well As Other Categories Of Disabled People. The Planned Intervention Is Going To Facilitate Access To The Following Six Beaches Of Our Municipality: A) Agios Georgios Of The Island Of Naxos, B) Amitis Of The Island Of Naxos, C) Abram Of The Island Of Naxos, D) Apollonas Of The Island Of Naxos, 5) Moutsouna Of The Island Of Naxos, 6) Stavros Of The Island Of Donoussa. These Beaches Were Chosen Taking Into Account The Following Criteria: ▪Service To Visitors (These Are Crowded Beaches), ▪The Characteristics Of The Coasts (The Width Of The Beach And The Space Is Suitable For The Installation And Operation Of The Infrastructure), ▪Free Access (These Are Beaches With Free Access To All Citizens). ▪The Organization Of The Beaches For The Operation And Supervision Of The Equipment. ▪The Close Proximity To Other Tourist Infrastructures, Such As Hot Springs And Thermal Baths, Which Are A Pole Of Attraction For Older Visitors.
