In The Wake Of The Increased Immigration Of Refugees And The Associated Increasing Proportion Of Foreign Citizens, The Thuringian State Government Decided To Provide “Video And Audio Interpreting” Services With A State Interpreting Program From May 2019. The Aim Is To Enable Or Support Communication With People Who Have No Or Insufficient German Language Skills In A Quick And Professional Manner. This State Program To Overcome Language Barriers In A Variety Of Areas (Including Administration/Municipalities, Asylum And Integration, Health, Justice) Is To Be Continued After Its Third Program Phase Ends On December 31, 2026. The Subject Of The Tender Is The Provision Of Video And Audio Interpreting Services In Accordance With The Service Description. The Requirements Of The Service Description And The Further Conditions Of The Award Procedure For The Performance Of The Service Will Be The Subject Of A Contract With The Future Contractor For The Implementation Of The Order. The Service Is Awarded As Part Of A Contract For A Period Of 12 Months (Service Contract) And Is Planned From January 1, 2027. The Client Has The Option Of Extending The Term Twice By One Year Each. However, This Is Subject To Budgetary Reservations And Must Be Declared To The Contractor No Later Than Three Months Before The End Of The Respective Contract Period. If The Start Of The Contract Is Postponed Due To A Review Procedure Under Public Procurement Law, The Duration Will Remain 12 Months. However, Any Resulting Postponement Of The Benefit Period Beyond December 31, 2027 Is Also Subject To Budgetary Reservations. The Contractor Must Provide Interpreting Services In Both Visual And Auditory Form Via An Internet Connection And Via Telephony. The Choice Of Medium Is The Responsibility Of The User, Taking Into Account The Technical Possibilities. The Application Provided By The Contractor Must Enable Simple And Efficient Processing In All Procedural Steps (Log-In, Language Selection, Making An Appointment, Conducting The Conversation, User Feedback, Etc.).
