Bids Are Invited For 321-26 Dfl 36 Serv Medical Hours Serv Pediatrics

The Objective Of This Public Proposal Is The Purchase Of Medical Hours Service For The Pediatric Service, With The Purpose Of Covering Clinical Demand, Guaranteeing The Continuity Of Care And Permanent, Timely And Quality Care Coverage For Newborns And Pediatric Patients Hospitalized In The Pediatric Service Of The Dr. Hernán Henríquez Aravena Hospital; Through The Services Of Doctors In Training, And Specialists; Given That, With The Institutional Provision, It Is Not Possible To Cover All The Benefits Required By The Service. The Increased Need For Medical Hours Is Primarily Due To Coverage Of A Second Resident On Four Shifts, Extended Medical Leaves, And Replacements For Legal Holidays, Compensatory Breaks, Pre- And Postnatal Leaves, And Other Legal Leave. Likewise, The Restorative Rest Permit Generates An Additional Increase In Days To Be Covered. Consequently, The Available Institutional Resources Are Insufficient To Absorb These Additional Needs Without Affecting The Continuity Of Care For Hospitalized Newborns And Pediatric Patients. Therefore, This Contract Seeks To Respond To The Demand For These Services, Which Are Intended To Provide Protection To The Public Health Of Users. The Above Will Make It Possible To Address Existing Medical Coverage Gaps And Strengthen The Care Capacity Of The Pediatric Service, Favoring Timely Access Of Users To Health Care, And Contributing To The Fulfillment Of The Hospitals Care Objectives And The Protection Of The Health Of The Beneficiary Population.The Service Will Be Carried Out In The Hospital Premises, In The Best Possible Conditions For Both Parties, As Detailed In These Administrative Bases And Technical Bases, And According To Quantities Defined In Annex No. 1. The Respective Contract Will Be Subject To The Provisions Of Decree With Force Of Law No. 36, Of July 10, 1980 Of The Ministry Of Health And Its Modifications Introduced By Law No. 18,417, Only With Respect To The Health Providers Who Exercise The Actions. Of Health That They Are Responsible For Executing. In This Sense, The Health Actions Provider Will Be Obliged To Provide On Behalf Of And In The Name Of The Hospital, And Through Delegation, In Accordance With The Requirements Of Inc. 1 Of Art. 2 Of Dfl 3680 To The Beneficiaries Of The Health Benefits Regime Of Law No. 18,469, The Health Prevention, Promotion, Recovery, Protection Or Rehabilitation Actions That Are Tendered By This Act.
