Work Detail
Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Gks-Gesellschaftskraftwerk Schweinfurt Gmbh: General Planning Services For The Construction Of Plants For The Decarbonization Of The Energy Supply In Schweinfurt. Gks-Gesellschaftskraftwerk Schweinfurt Gmbh (Gks) Operates A Combined Waste/Coal-Fired Power Plant In Schweinfurt To Generate District Heating And Electricity. The Steam Is Used By Industrial Customers And The Schweinfurt Public Utility Company To Supply Heat. The Gks Belongs To The Shareholders, Which Include The Surrounding Districts That Dispose Of Their Waste In The Incineration Plant Area. Other Shareholders Include Stadtwerke Schweinfurt And The Industrial Companies Zf, Schaeffler And Skf, Which Also Purchase The Heat. The Electrical Energy Generated In The Combined Heat And Power Process And In The Condensation Operation Of The Turbines Is Fed Into The Public Grid. The Gks Consists Of Three Waste And Two Coal Lines, The Live Steam Of Which Is Fed To An Extraction Condensation And A Back-Pressure Turbine. The Turbines Feed The 4.5 Barg Steam Rail From Which The District Heating Customers Are Supplied. The Industrial Companies In The North Are Supplied Directly With Steam. The Schweinfurt Public Utilities In The Northern Network Area (Fwz-Nord) And The Customers In The South (Fwz-South) Are Supplied With Hot Water Via Transforming Stations. Two Natural Gas And Oil-Fired Steam Boilers Are Installed In The North Peak Heating Plant As Peak Load And Reserve Boilers. The Energy Industry Framework Caused By The Coal Phase-Out Act, The Rising Prices For Co2 Emission Certificates As Well As The Demands Of The Industrial Shareholders And The City Of Schweinfurt For Co2 Neutral Heat Consumption Require Conversions And Expansions Of The Existing System Park. As Part Of The Decarbonization Strategy For The Current Coal-Fired Power Plant, Gks Intends To Replace Coal-Based Energy Production With Renewables (Heat Sources Of Non-Fossil Origin Or Waste Heat, But Without Wind Turbines And Photovoltaic Systems) And Peak Gas (Gas-Fired Heat Generation Systems With A Fuel Heat Output Of At Least 10 Megawatts, Which Are Used For Peak Load And/Or Base Load Supply) (Planning Task). The Plan So Far Is To Replace The Coal Currently Used In The Process Lines With Wood-Based Fuels And To Expand The Existing Peak-Load Generators By Building A New Gas Boiler. In Principle, Alternative Solutions Are Also Possible, For Example Through The Use Of Waste Heat. The Planning Task Includes Planning Services Based On The Service Profiles For Engineering Structures (§§ 41 Ff. Hoai In Conjunction With Annex 12 Hoai), Structural Planning (§§ 49 Ff. Hoai In Conjunction With Annex 14 Hoai) And Technical Equipment (§§ 53 Ff. Hoai In Conjunction With Annex 15 Hoai), Which Are Expected To Be Commissioned In Commissioning Stages. In A First Commissioning Stage (Hoai Service Phases 1, Basic Determination And 2, Preliminary Planning), These Existing Considerations Must Be Checked And Updated. Alternative Possible Solutions Must Also Be Considered. The Aim Here Must Be To Create A Cost-Effective And, If Possible, Co2-Neutral Heater
