The Lyon Sud Household Waste Treatment And Energy Recovery Unit (Utve) Is Operated Under The Management Of The Waste Department Of The Lyon Metropolis With A Workforce Of Approximately 65 People. The Unit Was Commissioned In 1990 And Operates 365 Days A Year, 24 Hours A Day. This Unit Currently Processes Around 250,000 Tonnes Of Waste Per Year.
