The Purpose Of This Request For Proposals (Rfp) Is To Solicit Competitive Proposals From Qualified Manufacturers For The Design, Build, And Delivery Of A Multi-Role Highway Rescue Fire Apparatus Capable Of Safe And Effective Operations On And Off Highway And In Adverse Weather Environments. In Addition To Its Primary Highway Rescue Function, The Apparatus Must Be Capable Of Operating As A Backup Wildland And Wui Engine, Supporting Fire Suppression In Remote, Off-Road, And Interface Environments. The Selected Apparatus Must Support Fire Suppression, Rescue, And Recovery Operations While Prioritizing Firefighter Safety, Operational Efficiency, Adaptability, And Ergonomic Design. Proposals Will Be Evaluated Using A Structured Scoring System Emphasizing Storage Functionality, Visibility, And Crew Ergonomics.
