Emergency Support Services Consultant . The Regional District Of Central Kootenay (Rdck) Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Consultants To Support The Implementation Of A Regional Emergency Support Services (Ess) Volunteer Recruitment And Retention Campaign. Ess Provides Short-Term Assistance To People Impacted By Emergencies And Disasters And Is Delivered Locally Through Volunteer-Led Teams. Through This Initiative, The Rdck Aims To Increase Awareness Of Ess, Attract Qualified New Volunteers, Strengthen Volunteer Engagement And Retention, And Enhance Volunteer Capacity Within Priority Teams, While Providing Reusable Resources That Can Support Future Recruitment Efforts. This Assignment Is Focused On Campaign Implementation And Delivery Rather Than The Development Of A New Ess Strategy Or Program Framework. The Rdck Will Provide Campaign Direction And Source Content Related To The Ess Program, Volunteer Roles, Onboarding Processes, And Operational Requirements. The Successful Consultant Will Be Responsible For Translating This Information Into Clear, Accessible, And Visually Consistent Campaign Materials, Developing A Practical Campaign Delivery Plan, Coordinating Campaign Activities, And Supporting Both Recruitment And Volunteer Retention Objectives.
