The Fraser Valley Regional District (Fvrd) Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Proponents(Proponents) In Response To This Request For Proposals (Rfp) For The Operation And Maintenance Ofthe Sylvester Road Transfer Stationthe Sylvester Road Transfer Station Is Located At 10033 Sylvester Rd, Hatzic, Bc. The Transfer Stationprovides Garbage, Recycling, Metal, Organics And Seasonal Yard Waste Collection To Residents.Approximately 200 Tons Of Garbage & 40 Tons Of Recycling Are Collected At This Site Each Year. Garbage& Recycling Are Collected In 40-Yard Bins; Metals And Yard Waste In 20-Yard Bins; Cardboard In 5-Yardbins & Food Waste Is Collected In 240L Toters And Contained In A 10Ft Sea-Can. The Transfer Stationcontains A Free Store For Re-Use Of Items By The Residents. The Site Does Not Have Access To Water. Thesite Has Power & A Portable Washroom. A 20Ft Sea-Can Is Provided For Use As An Office Building.The Services Will Be Provided For A Period Of 3 Years, With An Option For A Two-Year Mutual Extensionand Will Begin On January 15Th, 2026.
