Notice Of Intent - Mcneil Lake Dam Infrastructure Work . The Sunshine Coast Regional District (Regional District) Is Hereby Giving Notice Of Its Intent To Direct Award Wsp Canada Inc. A Contract For The Following Service: The Following Responsibilities Will Be Within Scope Of Contract: 1) Operation, Maintenance, And Surveillance (Oms) & Dam Emergency Plan (Dep) Revisions: Comprehensive Updates And Resubmission Of Core Regulatory Documentation, Including Emergency Contacts, Access/Inundation Mapping, And Surveillance Protocols To Address 2026 Dam Safety Audit Comments. 2) Dam Instrumentation Plan: Development Of An Instrumentation Plan Integrated Within The Oms Manual To Formalize Monitoring Protocols, Alarm Thresholds, Baseline Data Management, And Operational Roles For Reservoir Level Monitoring. 3) Physical Deficiencies Assessment & Remediation Plan: Review And Written Remediation Planning For Identified Site Deficiencies, Including Left Abutment Seepage Voids, Concretebedrock Interface Leakage, Downstream Slab Cracking, And Concrete Surface Deterioration. 4) Saddle Dam Decommissioning Plan: Scoping, Regulatory Coordination With The Dam Safety Officer (Dso), And Preparation Of A Formal Decommissioning Plan For The Mcneil Saddle Dam. The Total Value Of The Contract Will Not Exceed $30,800. This Contract Will Cover The Period From September 14, 2026 To December 31, 2026 With The Option To Extend The Contract For Additional Oneyear Term, At The Regional District’S Discretion. Vendors Wishing To Object To This Decision Should Contact The Procurement Services By Email On Or Before 3:00 P.M. Local Time On September 14, 2026 Presenting Specific Reasons For Their Objections. Vendor Ability To Offer The Same Level Of Service At A Lower Cost In The Same Time Frame Will Be The Key Criteria With Regard To The Consideration Of Vendor Objections.
