The Fluid Mechanics And Acoustics Laboratory Wishes To Acquire A Metrology System For The Spatial And Temporal Characterization Of Fluid Flows By Measuring The 3 Components Of Speed (3D3c), Via 2 Complementary Methods: - Lagrangian Spatial And Temporal Particle Tracking (4D-Ptv) By Measuring Individual Particle Trajectories And Possible Projection Of The Results Onto An Eulerian Grid, With Particle Densities Similar To Those Used In Piv. - Tomographic Piv By Spatial Reconstruction Of The Location Of Particles At Each Time Step. This Market Covers The Entire Hardware Part Of The System (Cameras, Lenses, Lighting, Computer, Etc.) But Also The Entire Software Chain Of Data Acquisition And Processing As Well As The Synchronization Between The Different Hardware Elements. This Purchase Being Part Of A Pooling Between Several Cnrs Laboratories (Coria, Icare, Imft, Irphe, Iusti, Legi, Lheea, Lmfa, Pprime, Etc.), The Proposed Equipment Must Be Compact, Have A Reduced Set-Up Time While Guaranteeing Optimal Reproducibility, Be Able To Respond To A Wider Range Of Measurement Volumes And Be Easily Transportable From One Laboratory To Another. The Joint Acquisition Of Such Equipment Will Allow All These Laboratories To Carry Out Advanced Flow Characterization Measurements By Providing Data Such As The Tensor Of Velocity Gradients (All Components), 3D Acceleration Or Pressure Fields.
