Tenders are invited for Cyber Security Building Blocks for Space Systems The objective(s) of this activity are the following:a) Design and implement an end-to-end Space Segment testbed that can constitute a security reference architecture, including a number of cyber security building blocks.b) Perform a security assessment and verification of the implemented security measures using the selected cyber security building blocks.c) Identify potential security enhancements, that can constitute candidates for further technical developments into products.The targeted current Technology ReadinessLevel (TRL) of this activity is 4 [RD1].WORK TO BE PERFORMED1 Work LogicThe work will be organised in two phases and the following tasks:Phase 1: Definition of cyber security building blocks and Space Segment testbedoTask 1: State-of-the-art survey of mission scenarios, security threats, relevant legislations and regulations and security technologiesoTask 2: Consolidationof Space Segment modular security reference architecture, including identification of required cyber security building blocks andspecification of system Space Segment security requirements.oTask 3: Specification of Space Segment testbed requirements (including incorporated cyber security building blocks), design and implementation and test planningPhase 2: Development, implementation and testing of cyber security building blocks and Space Segment testbedoTask 4: Development of the Space Segment testbedoTask 5: Space Segment Testbed Testing, Security Assessment and Vulnerability MitigationoTask 6: Lessons learnt and proposed roadmap for further (other than [RD16] building blocks development (including high level specifications)Note that phase 2 will be authorised to implement the agreed building blocks, subject to a successful Phase 1 and acceptance of a proposal for the conversion of the Phase 2 price from ceilingprice to Firm Fixed Price.
