Bc Timber Sales, Kootenay Lake Field Team Is Offering Approximately 41.5 Hectares Of Mechanical Site Preparation Over Three Blocks In The Kaslo River Valley. Treatment Must Be Completed By November 1, 2026, Or Prior To Snowfall On The Treatment Units.The Machine Operator Must Use A Mobile Device Capable Of Displaying Their Location On A Georeferenced Map. The Treatment Area Has Not Been Ribboned In The Field Due To Areas Within Them Being Greater Than 40% Slope. Payment Will Be Based On The Actual Area Treated, Which Will Depend On The Operator And The Type Of Equipment Used, To Determine What Area Can Be Safely Treated Within Slope Limitations And Site Conditions.
