Construction Work For School Buildings – New Extension And Renovation Of The Existing Baesweiler High School. The City Of Baesweiler (Hereinafter Referred To As The Client) Intends To Extend And Convert The High School At Otto-Hahn-Straße 16-18 In 52499 Baesweiler As A Total Contractor. The High School Is Located On Property In The Baesweiler District, Corridor 008, Parcel 96. The Property Has A Size Of Approx. 26,500 M2. The Ever-Increasing Need For School Places In Secondary Schools Makes This Measure Necessary. In The Future, The High School Will Have Five Levels And, According To Student Number Monitoring, Will Offer Space For Up To Around 1,200 Students. The Current School Location Consists Of Three Building Parts (Tract 1, Wing 2 And Wing 3/4) And A Triple Gymnasium. As Part Of The Planned Expansion, The Administration Wing, Which Was Previously Housed In Wing 1, Will Be Relocated To An Extension To The Gymnasium. In Addition, The Conversion Of Wing 1 To Accommodate Classrooms And An Expansion Of Wing 3/4 To Create New Classrooms Are Planned In Order To Cover The Identified Additional Space Requirements. The Subject Of The Order Is Also The Fixed Furniture, While The Loose Furniture And The Relocation Of Wing 1 Are The Responsibility Of The Client. A Land Use Plan Is Available. There Is No Development Plan. The Gymnasium Is To Be Expanded On A Floor Area Of Approx. 1,200 M². As Part Of The Planned Structural Measures, A Total Of Eight New Classrooms Will Be Created By Converting Wing 1. A Total Of Four Additional Classrooms And Four Specialist Rooms For Music And Geography Are To Be Built In The Extension Of Wings 3 And 4. Furthermore, Information Technology (Computer Rooms) Will Be Implemented In The Addition Of The Gymnasium. In Addition, A New Address Is Planned With The Main Entrance At The Gymnasium. The Expansion Measures Must Be Implemented During Ongoing Operations. To Speed Up The Construction Process, The Contractor Is Free To Use Prefabricated Components And Prefabricated Parts (Modular Or System Construction). The Aim Is For The General Contractor To Build The Building On A Turnkey Basis. The Final Construction Phase Is Scheduled To Be Commissioned By The 2030 Summer Holidays At The Latest. When Planning The Construction Phases, It Must Be Taken Into Account That The Gymnasium Must Be Increased In Height Before The Renovation Of Wing 1, So That Wing 1 Can Be Cleared For The Renovation Work. A Gross Budget Of Eur 12 Million Is Available For The Implementation Of The Planning And Construction Measures. This Budget Is Specified As A Fixed Price For The Award Process. This Budget At Least Covers The Planning And Execution Of - The Extension Of The Gym, - The Conversion Of Wing 1 To Accommodate Classrooms And - The Expansion Of Wing 3/4. In Addition, The Bidders Are Free To Implement The Following Additional Measures Within The Set Budget: - Planning And Execution Of A New Address With The Main Entrance To The Gymnasium; - Execute
