Work Detail
Government Services – Project Sponsorship For The Technical And Administrative Implementation Of The Funding Guideline “Establishing An Industrial Bioeconomy Through The Further Development And Scaling Of Bio-Based Processes And The Establishment Of Regional Innovation Clusters”. The Industrial Bioeconomy Offers Enormous Potential For Sustainable Growth By Replacing Fossil Raw Materials With Renewable Biological Resources, Achieving Climate Goals And Strengthening Competitiveness. Germany Is Well Positioned In The Research And Development Of Bioeconomic Products And Processes. The Previous Funding Measures From Other Departments And The Federal States Show That Bioeconomic Products And Processes Can Be Implemented On A Laboratory Scale. However, There Is A Lack Of Widespread Implementation Of Bioeconomic Products And Processes On An Industrial Scale. Therefore, To Support The Transformation Of The Economy Into A Sustainable, Climate-Neutral Form Of Economy, The “Industrial Bioeconomy” Funding Program Was Initiated, Which Started On December 29, 2020 (Banz At December 28, 2020 B2) When The “Guideline For The Promotion Of The Use And Construction Of Demonstration Plants For The Industrial Bioeconomy” Of December 16, 2020 Came Into Force. This Funding Guideline Was Replaced By The “Funding Guideline For The Establishment Of An Industrial Bioeconomy Through The Further Development And Scaling Of Bio-Based Processes As Well As The Establishment Of Regional Innovation Clusters (Banz At September 27, 2024 B1) Published In The Federal Law Gazette On September 27, 2024. The Aim Of The Program Is To Open Up The Potential Of New Bio-Based Processes For Industry And To Transfer Sustainable Products Into Widespread Use. In Order To Economically In Order To Reduce The Technical Risks Of Development And Market Launch, The Potential Of Bio-Based Products And Processes Should Be Demonstrated At An Early Stage. Projects That Have A High Potential For Industrial Application, The Creation Of New Added Value And New Jobs, Strengthen The Market Position Of The Companies Involved And Make A Relevant Contribution To Sustainability Are Supported.
