The Object Of The Procurement Is The Diffusion Capacity/Spirometry Equipment (1 Pc) That Will Be Delivered To The Mikkeli Central Hospital Of The Etelä-Savo Welfare Area (Eloisa) As Well As Equipment-Specific Consumables, Software, Licenses And Maintenance Service. The Procurement Also Includes An Option For Two (2) Similar Sets Of Equipment (Diffusion Capacity/Spirometry Equipment) And One (1) Spirometry Equipment. Eloisa Will Decide On The Acquisition Of Possible Options By The End Of 2028. The Contract Period Starts When The Contract Is Signed. The Contract Will Be Signed As Soon As Possible After The Legally Binding Decision. The Contract Is Valid Until Further Notice. The Device Must Be Suitable For Measuring Diffusion Capacity And Conducting Spirometry Studies. Spirometry And Diffusion Capacity Are Central Lung Function Tests. Spirometry Measures Lung Volume And Air Flow, Which Helps Identify Constrictive (E.G. Asthma, Copd) Or Restrictive Lung Diseases. Diffusing Capacity Measures The Transfer Of Gases From The Alveoli To The Blood, And Is Used In The Evaluation Of Lung Tissue Diseases (E.G. Fibrosis). The Device Must Be Able To Perform Spirometry And Bronchodilation Test, Diffusion Test Measurement Of Respiratory Muscle Strength And Snip. Upon Request, The Bidder Will Deliver The Offered Equipment Set To Mikkeli Central Hospital For Trial Use At Its Own Expense. The Call For Tenders Is Published Conditionally For The Options: The Purchase Of The Options Can Be Carried Out If The Investment Allocations Set Aside For The Purchases Are Approved.
