Map the key components of the model, showing the relationship between family-level, community-level, and service-level interventions, including how different approaches contribute to supporting children and youth with rare impairments and intellectual disabilities. II. Collect qualitative evidence and implementation experiences Conduct key informant interviews (KIIs) with HHC Rwanda technical, programme, and MERL staff involved in the implementation of the intervention. Conduct field visits to Musanze, Gatsibo, and Rubavu districts to engage caregivers, Inshuti zUmuryango (IZU) volunteers, local leaders, and staff from UCC and WM. Facilitate focus group discussions (FGDs) with caregivers and peer support groups to capture experiences, outcomes, challenges, and lessons learned. Consult, where feasible, with relevant government institutions (e.g., NCDA, NCPD, and district authorities) to ensure alignment with national childcare reform and disability inclusion priorities. III. Develop the intervention model Synthesize evidence, lessons learned, and implementation experiences into a comprehensive model document. Develop a clear description of the intervention framework, including the rationale, target population, guiding principles, model components, implementation pathways, adapted tools, roles of stakeholders, and monitoring considerations. Incorporate illustrative case studies demonstrating how the approach has supported children with rare impairments and intellectual disabilities and their families. IV.
