Tenders Are Invited For Legal Support Of The Procurement Process For Water Concessions For The City Of Iserlohn

The City Of Iserlohn Intends To Re-Award The Concession For The “Water” Energy Division On January 1, 2029, Including The Fire-Fighting Water Supply. The Award Should Take Place For A Maximum Possible Period Of 40 Years, Whereby The First Term Must Be Fixed For 20 Years And The Remaining 20 Years Should Be Renegotiated Every 10 Years. The Plan Is To Have The Entire Water Concession Award Procedure Accompanied By A Lawyer. The List Of Services For Legal Support Will Include A Procurement Process With (Several Bidders In The Concession Process) And Without Competition (One Bidder In The Concession Process). Under The New Concession Contract, The Citys Concessionaire Must Allow The Citys Concession Holder To Withdraw Water Free Of Charge For Fire Extinguishing Equipment, For Fire Extinguishing Training Purposes, For Public Ornamental And Street Fountains (Including Water Fountains) And For City And Street Cleaning Purposes Allow The Free Construction And Maintenance Of Systems For Extinguishing Water Supply And Fire Protection. If A Cost Cap Can Be Offered, This Will Be Welcomed Given The Current Budget Situation.
