Knappschaft Kliniken Bottrop Gmbh, Osterfelder Str. 157, 46242 Bottrop Intends To Expand And Modernize Early Neurological Rehabilitation In A Former Ward On The Ground Floor Of The Main Building. The Modernization Of Early Neurological Rehabilitation Serves To Expand And Improve The Quality Of The Neurological Treatment Spectrum At Knappschaft Kliniken Bottrop. The Aim Of The Measure Is To Create A Contemporary And Functionally Optimized Ward That Meets The Special Requirements Of Early Neurological Rehabilitation. The Planning Particularly Takes Into Account Short Routes For Care And Therapy Services, Clear Orientation Within The Ward And The Creation Of A Therapeutically Supportive Environment For Patients. By Reorganizing The Functional Areas, Operational Processes Are Optimized And The Quality Of Stay Is Improved. The Measure Represents An Important Building Block For The Future-Oriented Further Development Of The Hospital Location. An Expansion Of The Existing Building Stock Is Not Part Of This Planning. The Building Services Systems And Fire Protection Must Be Adapted To The New Uses And Are Examined And Planned By The Respective Specialist Planners. The Technical Building Equipment Must Be Designed To Meet The Special Requirements Of A New Hospital Building And The Different Medical Uses/Care. This Includes In Particular Sanitary And Media Supply, Heating And Cooling Supply, Ventilation Technology, High-Voltage And Safety Power Supply, Communication And Security Technology, Conveyor Technology And Building Automation. The Area Of The Former Patient Ward 0B1 On The Ground Floor Of The Main Building Is To Be Expanded To Modernize Early Neurological Rehabilitation. The Design Concept Is Based On The Functional And Operational Requirements Of A Modern Department For Early Neurological Rehabilitation. The Focus Of The Planning Is Economical Use Of Space, Clear Functional Processes And Patient-Oriented Design. The Arrangement Of The Patient Rooms, Therapy Rooms And Additional Rooms Enables Short Distances For Nursing Staff And Therapists. At The Same Time, The Spatial Structure Creates Good Orientation Within The Station. The Quality Of Stay Is Supported By Bright, Friendly Materials And A Clear Organization Of The Areas Of Use. Special Consideration Is Given To The Requirements For Accessibility, Hygiene, Sound Insulation And Technical Building Equipment. The Planning Is Based On The Recommendations Of The Commission For Hospital Hygiene And Infection Prevention (Krinko) As Well As The Expert Opinion On Hospital Hygiene. The Planned Room Structure With One And Two-Bed Rooms, The Assigned Wet Rooms As Well As The Necessary Functional And Ancillary Rooms
