The Maintenance, Repair And Overhaul Sector In The Netherlands Is An Important Sector For Dutch Economic Growth And This Sector Needs Further Professionalization And Improvement. The World Class Maintenance Foundation Strives To Be The Most Important Connecting And Stimulating Party For Innovation In Maintenance And Asset Management. In This Context, Wcm Open Innovation Develops And Supervises Projects For Its Members, With The Aim Of Realizing World-Class Maintenance And Assets That Can Contribute To Social Developments Such As The Energy Transition. Wcms Projects Are Characterized By Technical Innovation And/Or Social Innovation And/Or Attention To The Development Of Human Capital. The Majority Of Wcm Projects Are In The Form Of So-Called Field Lab Projects; Practice-Oriented Projects Where People Learn From Each Other In An Open Innovation Setting. This Often Involves Participants From The Business Community, Schools And Knowledge Institutions. The Commitment Of The Work Package Leader Wp5 Is On Average 9 Hours Per Week. Over The Entire Term, This Is +/- 1,300 Hours Up To A Maximum Amount Of €162,500. For The Project Developer Pilots, The Average Commitment Is 4 Hours Per Week.
