purchase And Delivery Of Iron And Aluminum-Based Precipitation Chemicals . Descriptionveas Has A Continuous And Critical Need For Precipitation Chemicals To Operate The Treatment Plant. The Purpose Of The Procurement Is To Enter Into An Agreement For The Purchase And Delivery Of Precipitation Chemicals That Will Ensure A Stable And Predictable Supply To Veas For The Next Eight Years. The Chemicals Covered By This Procurement Are: · Iron Coagulant (Fe), With An Assumed Volume Of 2000-3000 Tonnes Of Product Per Year · High Basic Polyaluminium Chloride (Al), With An Assumed Volume Of 7000-9000 Tonnes Of Product Per Year. Changing Veas Sludge Treatment Will Probably Result In A Need For Increased Doses, But Actual Consumption Is Uncertain. The Combination Of Iron And Aluminium-Based Precipitation Chemicals Is Wanted To Be Continued Because It Works Well Both For Further Water Treatment And Sludge Treatment. Reference Products Are Kemira Pix 318 And Kemira Pax Xl61. Equivalent Or Better Products Can Be Offered. The Procurement Is Divided Into Subcontracts For Iron Coagulant And Highly Basic Polyaluminium Chloride (Pac), Respectively. Suppliers Can Submit Offers For One Product Or Both Together. The Same Requirements And Award Criteria Apply To Both Products, Except Where Otherwise Specified. The Total Value Of The Contract Is Estimated At Nok 350-400 Million, Of Which The Aluminum Product Makes Up Approx. 75% Of The Value And The Iron Coagulant Makes Up 25% Of The Value. A Mixed Goods And Services Contract Will Be Entered Into With A Duration Of 8 Years (4 Years With An Option To Extend 2+2). Competition With Negotiation Has Been Chosen In Order To Be Able To Clarify Product Characteristics, Delivery Security And Contract Terms Before Awarding. The Client Intends To Carry Out Negotiations With One Or More Suppliers. The Client Nevertheless Reserves The Right To Reduce The Number Of Negotiation Rounds Or To Award A Contract On The Basis Of The Initial Offers Without Negotiations If This Is Deemed Appropriate. As Part Of The Competition, Applicants Must Submit A Product Sample (100 Ml) By The Application Deadline. The Product Sample Is Not Included In The Qualification Assessment And Will Not Be Used In The Assessment Of Whether The Applicant Is Qualified To Participate In The Competition. The Product Sample Will Be Kept By The Client And Will First Be Assessed As Part Of The Evaluation Of The Award Criterion Quality For The Suppliers Who Qualify And Are Invited To Submit Offers.
