Tenders are invited for Engineer to Conduct a Technical Assessment of a Communal Space Closing Date: Sunday, 13. Sep 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Rehabilitation Remuneration range: < 1000 (USD) Duration of Contract: September October 2026. The consultancy aims to recruit an Engineer to conduct a technical assessment of Qab Elias Scout City as part of the Qab Elias Core Team Communal Project, in coordination with the Municipality. The Scout City would serve, after rehabilitation, as a shared Communal Space which would enhance citizens engagement and collective planning for communal activities. The awarded applicant shall be responsible for identifying the rehabilitation works required, taking into consideration the priorities already identified by the Youth Core Team, Local Scout Groups, and the Municipality of Qab Elias. In other words, the assignment will support the project team in determining the appropriate rehabilitation work based on technical feasibility, priority, and the allocated project budget. The awarded applicant shall ensure that all proposed rehabilitation work complies with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and good construction practices. The key expected deliverables are the following: Conduct a comprehensive technical assessment of the Scout City, taking into consideration the rehabilitation priorities identified by the Youth Core Team, Local Scout Groups, and the Municipality of Qab Elias, to assess the condition of the identified facilities and determine the required rehabilitation work. Assess and prioritize the proposed interventions based on technical feasibility, safety, priority, functionality, sustainability, and the allocated project budget. Prepare a technical assessment report including a prioritized list of recommended rehabilitation works, technical specifications, estimated quantities, and cost estimates. Coordinate closely with Masar Association, Dawaer Foundation, and the Municipality of Qab Elias and the Youth Core Team throughout the assignment.
