In line with the projects objective to enhance the effectiveness, sustainability, and overall impact of local CSOs, Jafra and Mada Association are looking focus on strengthening the institutional frameworks and technical competencies of local CSOs operating in Lebanon. The aim of the mission is to deliver comprehensive, pre-developed training sessions, aimed at strengthening the institutional capacities of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). The training will focus on the following key area: Grants and Project Management Enhancing CSOs capacity to identify funding opportunities, develop compelling grant proposals, and effectively manage donor-funded projects. This includes building skills in project planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and compliance with donor requirements. The training will be conducted over three sessionsspanning three days. Each session will consist of 6 hours. The program is scheduled to begin on Jan 2025 in Beirut. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Meet with Jafras and Madas teams to discuss the missions objectives and expectations. Deliver the 3 training sessions to assigned groups (each session up to 6 hours) including the main tasks below: Review the profiles of the participating CSOs, and assess their current grants management capacity. Design a customized training agenda focusing on: Funding opportunity identification Proposal development Project cycle management Donor compliance Develop training materials (presentations, templates, case studies, and exercises) covering: Project planning and design (logframes, theory of change) Budgeting for proposals and projects Implementation management Monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) basics Donor reporting and compliance procedures Encourage peer-to-peer learning and collaborative problem-solving among CSO participants to foster long-term capacity retention.
