Tenders are invited for Call for Trainer in Solar PV Systems Bedayati works to empower marginalized women and youth in Lebanon by widening access to education, skills training, and economic development opportunities. As part of the Bedayati Solar Skills Training Academy, we are launching an industry-focused vocational training program designed to prepare participants for employment in Lebanons rapidly growing renewable energy sector through practical, market-driven training and employer engagement. Location Saida, Lebanon Duration 12 weeks | 3 days/week | 4 hours/day | Total: 144 training hours Training Days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (4 hours/day, including scheduled breaks) Training Delivery: Classroom, Laboratory, Practical Workshops, and Site Visits Compensation Competitive consultancy fee:The consultancy fee covers training delivery and all deliverables specified in these Terms of Reference (ToR). Role Overview Bedayati is seeking an experienced Solar PV Training Facilitator to deliver a comprehensive hands-on vocational training program in Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The facilitator will combine classroom instruction with extensive practical training to equip participants with the technical competencies required to install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot residential and commercial solar energy systems safely and professionally. The successful candidate will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to participants throughout the program, supporting their professional development and readiness for employment in the solar energy sector. Key Responsibilities Technical Training Delivery: Deliver engaging, learner-centered technical training covering electrical and solar PV fundamentals, system components and BESS, PV system design and sizing, DC/AC systems, wiring and protection, installation, testing and commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance, energy efficiency, and applicable safety standards. Practical Laboratory & Field Training: Conduct hands-on laboratory and field training covering PV installation, mounting systems, batteries and inverters, electrical wiring and protection, commissioning, testing, fault diagnosis, maintenance, and site assessment, while ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety requirements. Participant Coaching & Mentorship: Provide technical coaching and supervision throughout the training, encourage teamwork and problem-solving, support practical projects, and help participants develop the professional skills and workplace readiness needed for internships and employment. Assessment & Evaluation: Monitor participant progress through attendance, written and practical assessments, assignments, group projects, and a final practical examination, while providing timely and constructive feedback. Training Administration: Coordinate closely with Bedayati staff, maintain accurate attendance, assessment, evaluation, participant progress, and training records, and submit required documentation and reports according to the agreed schedule.
