Tenders are invited for Minor Building Rehabilitation Works in Northern Bekaa Closing Date: Tuesday, 01. Sep 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Displaced Population Purpose of the tender This tender aims to invite qualified contractors to submit bids for the implementation of simple and rapid rehabilitation works for ninety-six (96) non-conforming buildings (SSBs), which are inhabited by the most vulnerable households in the Qasr and Sahl-e-Mei (Hermel/North Bekaa) areas. The works include specific civil works, carpentry, plastering, painting, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) works, and waterproofing, as well as basic electrical repairs. Qualified Bidders The bidder must meet the following criteria to be eligible to participate in the NRC Business Tenders: General Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in the areas of construction, building rehabilitation, shelter, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), electrical/sanitary works, or civil/light infrastructure works, as of January 2021 and later. Specific Experience: Successfully implementing, completing and delivering at least two (2) qualification projects within the last five (5) years, as a Prime Contractor, with a minimum contract value of USD 50,000 per project. Qualified core staff: Provide qualified staff, including: One (1) project manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience; One (1) Civil Site Engineer/Architect with a minimum of 5 years of experience; One (1) safety engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience; Business Controllers/Foremen (2), with a minimum of 5 years of experience each. Implementation Timeline: Ability to complete all rehabilitation work within a maximum period of eight (8) calendar weeks / 56 calendar days.
