Request For Proposalsthe Owner Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Design-Build Teams To Design, Permit, Construct, Test, Commission And Complete New Artificial Turf Sports Fields And Associated Site Improvements At The Place Of Work. The Work Includes The Conversion Of Existing Natural Grass Field #3 And The Adjacent Practice/Warm-Up Area To Synthetic Turf, Complete With Field Lighting, High-Performance Drainage, Fencing, Pathways, Covered Player And Spectator Seating, And Related Civil, Electrical And Site Works.The Work May Also Include Construction Of The Owner’S Pre-Designed Walking Track Lighting And Existing Mini Soccer #1 Field Lighting Systems As Part Of The Overall Construction Package.The Place Of Work Is A Major Community-Level Park And A Key Soccer Tournament Venue. The Project Is Intended To Increase Year-Round Field Capacity, Improve Playability During Wet Weather, Support High-Volume Community And Tournament Use, Reduce Maintenance Demands Associated With Natural Grass Fields, And Improve Evening Safety And Accessibility Around The Walking Track.Design Visioncreate A Fifa Standard Soccer Field And Warm-Up Area With Fencing And Lighting.Project Teamthe Design-Builder Shall Provide A Qualified, Experienced And Integrated Team Capable Of Completing All Aspects Of The Work. At Minimum, The Team Should Include The Following Disciplines And Roles:• Project Manager.• Construction Manager Or Superintendent.• Civil Engineer. Including Esc Specialist.• Electrical Engineer.• Structural Engineer.• Geotechnical Engineer.• Landscape Architect Or Sports Field Designer.• Synthetic Turf Installer.• Sports Lighting And Electrical Contractor.• Civil Contractor.• Quality Control Lead.• Any Additional Specialists Required To Permit, Construct, Test And Commission The Work.Addendaif The Owner Determines That An Amendment Is Required To This Rfp, The Owner Will Issue A Written Addendum That Will Form Part Of This Rfp.
