Bids Are Invited For Spillway Feasibility And Design Study

This Request For Proposals (The “Rfp”) Is An Invitation By The Corporation Of The City Of Nelson (The “City”) To Prospective Proponents To Submit Proposals For 2026-P-04 Spillway Feasibility And Design Study As Further Described In Section A Of The Rfp Particulars (Appendix B) (The “Deliverables”). The City Of Nelson Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Engineering Consultants To Perform A Nelson Spillway Feasibility And Design Study To Determine The Practicality, Viability And Likely Success Of Enhancing The Mountain Station Dam Spillway, To Reduce Vulnerability And To Increase Resilience In Response To Expected Climate Change.It’S The City Intent To Have This Work Completed By Early Spring 2027.The Estimated Budget For This Project Is $70,000.00 Plus Gstat Its Sole Discretion The City May Choose To Award The Successful Consultant Of This Contract The Engineering Services Role If This Project Moves Into Further Design And Construction Phases In The Future.
