Tenders are invited for Rapid Pre-Feasibility Assessment of Proposed Agrivoltaics Farm Sites - Phase 1. Service Location: West Bank Phase 1 Rapid Pre-Feasibility Assessment of Proposed Agrivoltaics Farm Sites Cowater International Inc., through the PROSPER Project Promoting Resilience, Opportunities, and Sustainability through Partnerships for Empowerment funded by Global Affairs Canada, invites eligible service providers to submit bids for the pre-feasibility assessment of proposed agrivoltaics farm sites in the West Bank. PROSPER Project is a five-year initiative implemented in collaboration with governmental and non-governmental stakeholders to strengthen economic resilience and promote prosperity among vulnerable groups in the West Bank, with a particular focus on women and female youth working in the agribusiness and renewable energy/energy efficiency sectors. The objective of this assignment is to conduct a rapid, comparative pre-feasibility assessment of the four shortlisted sites; Arraba, Qabatiya, Deir Abu Daif, and Rummanah. The assessment will evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, risks and opportunities associated with each site to provide the technical, legal, financial, environmental, and governance evidence required to support an informed site selection decision. The service provider should indicate preferred options; however, the site selection decision rests with PROSPER and the Project Technical Committee. to determine which site(s), if any, are viable for development of a 1 MW agrivoltaics farm. The assessment will give PROSPER the technical, legal, financial, and governance evidence needed to make a well-informed site-selection and Go/No-Go decision.
