Engineering Design Services – Planning Services For The Replacement Construction Of The Auedeichsiel And The Elevation Of The Dike Section Dkm 19-200 To Dkm 19-300. According To The Hamburg Senate Resolution, New Design Water Levels For Public Flood Protection Systems In Hamburg Have Been In Effect Since 2012, Which Result In An Adjustment Of All Hws Systems. To This End, Hamburgs Main Dike Line Will Be Gradually Strengthened Until 2050 As Part Of The Flood Protection Construction Program. In The Southeast Of Finkenwerder Is The 1,441 M Long Aue Main Dike, Which Is Designed As A Green Pond. This Must Be Increased Accordingly By 0.90 M To A Target Height Of +8.60 M. During The Planning To Raise The Dike, It Was Determined That Future Climate Changes And The Associated Changing Water Levels Should Be Taken Into Account In Order To Be Able To Implement A Subsequent Increase In The Aue Main Dike As Easily And Sustainably As Possible. For This Purpose, A Second Expansion Stage Was Set With A Planning Horizon Of 2100. The Target Height Of The Dike For The 2Nd Expansion Stage Was Set At Nhn +9.40 M. The Aue Main Dike Is Divided Into 5 Sections (North 1.1, Auedeichsiel 1.2, Middle 2, Storchennest 3.1 And South 3.2) Due To Internal Structures And Different Cross Sections. The Auedeichsiel Crosses The Aue Main Dike At Dkm 19+252. It Is Approximately 90 M Long, Approximately 1.8 M Wide And Approximately 2.3 M High. The Structure Essentially Consists Of A Single-Section Sewer, The Inlet And Outlet Structure And A Service Building With A Service Shaft. The Sielzug Is A Box-Shaped Frame Construction Made Of Reinforced Concrete From 1968. The Ceiling Plate Is Concavely Arched. The Cable Train Consists Of Individual Building Blocks, Which Are Connected On The Pressure Water Side By A Joint Construction. A Sewer Block Was Not Renewed In 1968 And Still Exists Today From The Year 1393/45. The Sewer Train Is Based On A Preserved Base Plate From 1939/45 And The Existing Wooden Pile Foundation From 1939/45. It Drains The Auedeichgraben And The Ring Ditch Into The Finkenwerder Outer Harbor And Is Therefore A Water Management Structure. When Elbe Water Levels Rise, The Stemmtor Closes And Protects The Hinterland From Increased Water Levels. The Second Dike Safety Is Ensured By A Lifting Gate. During The Course Of Planning To Raise The Aue Main Dike, It Became Apparent That The Auedeichsiel Does Not Have Any Additional Calculated Load Reserves In The Cross-Section Of The Dike And In The Foundation. Because Of This, It Is Not Possible To Build A Raised Dike Over The Crossing Structure. A Replacement Building Is To Be Planned For The Auedeichsiel. The Replacement Building Must Be Integrated Into The Current Increase Measure In The Planning. A Current Hydraulic And Water Management Requirements Plan Is Available For The Auedeichsiel, From Which The Dimensions For The New Replacement Building Can Be Derived. In Addition, The Dismantling Of The Existing Sluice And The Maintenance Of Sluice Operations During Construction Must Be Planned. The Location Of The New Auedeichsiel Is Recommended As Part Of The Planning Service Of Object And Structural Planning, Taking Into Account The Existing Buildings, Among Other Things
