Project: Tender22081 - The Supply And Delivery Of Organic Liquid And Gas Stock Solutions, Solids And Standard Materials . The Supply And Delivery Of Organic Liquid And Gas Stock Solutions, Solids And Standard Materials Scope Of Work The Objective Of The Deliverables Is To Ensure The Supply And Delivery Of Organic Liquid And Gas Standards (I.E. Products Used In Making Calibration And Quality Control Standards In Solid Or Liquid Form) And Standard Materials For The Organic Contaminants Section Of The Laboratory Services Branch (“Lasb”) Of The Ministry. The Ministry Provides Analytical Support For Its Environmental And Regulatory Programs Through Its Lasb. Lasb Provides Analytical Method Development, Supports Standard Setting And Ensures The Data Quality Of Ministry Compliance, Enforcement, And Emergency Analytical Testing. Lasb Has Second Source Requirements Which Make It Mandatory For The Lasb To Calibrate Or Standardize Instrumentation With Organic Standards, Solids And/Or Reference Materials Of A Separate Source Than Those Many Of Organic Stock Solutions, Solids Or Reference Materials Used To Check The Calibration Or Standardization, Wherever This Is Possible. The Ministry Is Seeking To Purchase On An “As And When Required By The Ministry Basis” Organic Liquid And Gas Solutions, Solids And Reference Materials To Conduct Laboratory Testing. As Part Of Its Business, Lasb Regularly Conducts Environmental Analysis And Requires The Replenishment Of Its Organic Stock Solutions, Solids And Reference Materials As They Become Depleted Or As The Organic Liquid And Gas Solutions, Solids And Reference Materials Approach Their Expiry Date.
